My Shoes

Don't touch. This is my shoe. Dhamia holding on to her shoes even before the shoes were paid for. A pink shoe for a little girl. Beautiful and sweet colour for an equally sweet girl.

Shopping Time

One effective way to keep Dhamia quiet when shopping...put her inside the shopping trolley. She seemed to be enjoying herself on her first ride on the shopping trolley. At least by putting her inside the trolley, that will keep our hands free to do more shopping. It can really be tiring carrying her all over the shopping centre. Include the shopping bags and that would have been quite a task.

PD Waterfront

A little pose from Dhamia while waiting for our food to arrive. On our way back to Melaka when we stopped over at PD Waterfront to have lunch. This place looks nice with all its new buildings and many well known outlets. I am truly impressed.

Seaside is still one of the best places for photographs even if there is nothing beautiful in the background. That is one thing about me. I simply love to take photos by the beach.

Port Dickson

Welcome to Port Dickson. This was Dhamia's first visit to Port Dickson. It was not a long holiday really. Just a short getaway for the weekend. This is one of the things that I love to do on weekends. Love spending weekends in Port Dickson just doing nothing other than sleep and relax. And of course, what more can you do when you are in Port Dickson other than spend your time either by the beach or in the swimming pool. While it can be refreshing spending time in the pool, it can also send shivers down your spine especially when the weather is cold like the time we were in Port Dickson.

Dhamia seemed to be enjoying herself in the pool although it was only a short dip in the pool as it was rather cold at that time. But it was a good introduction to a swimming pool. Of course Wawa had to hold her all the time. Just wait until she is a few years old. I am seriously thinking of sending her to a swimming class by then. She can then be a mermaid...:D

Year Of The Horse

It's time for Chinese New Year celebration again. This time around it is the year of the horse and true to the nature of a horse, there will be a lot of horsing around this time around. Like any other festivity, Chinese New Year is one time of the year where practically all shopping centres will have their special festivity decoration to commemorate the event. Chinese New Year is no different.

You just need to walk into any shopping centre, be it a large shopping centre or not so large, and you will find all sorts of beautiful decorations all around. However, after having seen Chinese New Year decorations in the past, you have seen it all. There is not much difference from the decorations used in the previous years.

As the Chinese are so obsessed with money and prosperity, you are most likely to see decoration depicting gold, money and things along that line. Come to think of it, these decorations are so predictable that you can already guess what kind of decorations they will use even before you set your eyes on those decorations.

As for Dataran Pahlawan, these two bears (below) looks familiar. It did not take long for me to realise that these are the bears used for the Christmas decorations. You just need to change the bears' costume to make them look like they are celebrating Chinese New Year and voila...you have a new decoration for Chinese New Year. Out of idea or being cheap...?

New Hat

Dhamia testing out the new hat (or whatever you call it) which Gee bought from Auntie Rozie. The hat looked kind of big for her head though. On second thought, Dhamia looked like a Mongolian kid wearing that hat...hahaha. Especially so with her fair complexion. She can pass herself off as a Mongolian kid with ease.

Shoes Tasting

This is one of Dhamia's latest hobbies...sinking her teeth into anything she can get her hands on, even if it was her shoes. Just wonder how the shoe tastes like? I guess it's better for her to bite the shoes rather than biting me.
