This was the first time we visited Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang after the MH370 incident. So in a way, this visit could be considered as a tribute to all those onboard the ill-fated MAS flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
From the look of things, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary despite what had happened. KLIA was still a busy and packed airport, the way we always remembered it. On the surface everything certainly looked nothing out of the ordinary.
The main reason we visited the airport was to give Dhamia the opportunity to view the planes from up close (well, from the viewing gallery at least). I remembered how fun it was for me when I was young and therefore, she might even enjoy it...provided of course she understands everything.
The airport is certainly a good place for plane spotting although these photos were nowhere near those taken by others during a plane's approach or taking off. That would have been quite an awesome sight. But then, better these than nothing at all. There is certainly something captivating about planes.
It was just a short visit with nothing much happening. But it was worthwhile as little Dhamia got her first view of planes. And as for me, I got the opportunity to snap away.
