A Star Is Born

Okay I admit it. I do not follow the local entertainment scene and thus I was at wit's end when I heard the name Nora Danish. I have to admit that the name was Greek to me. The only Nora I know is Norah Jones and the only Danish I know is the Danish cookies. 

While work is work, the opportunity to a photo or two taken with the artist is something not to be missed out on...well, depending on which side of the coin you are looking at.

Me? I am just happy being trigger-happy and shoot away

Sleepy Heads

I just could not resist taking this shot when I saw both Najwa and Mia sleeping in the back seat of the car. I guess there is nothing more that you can do but sleep when you have someone driving you everywhere. How I wish I am in the back seat rather than in the driver's seat.

The First 24

Dhamia's first 24 hours. Both mother and daughter were still in the hospital...but not for long. Both progressing well.

It was quite an awkward moment for me as it has been quite sometime since I last carried a baby. You can say that it was like trying to regain a lost skill. And to make matters worst, they do come in small packages, thus making the entire process of cradling a baby even more challenging.

Introduction

Introducing the new addition to the family...Nur Amira Dhamia. Born today at Mahkota Medical Centre at 7.40am weighing 2.95kg.

Peeping Tom

Taking a peek at the baby. Again she was facing towards the back and thus unable to see her face. Development of the baby seemed to be normal and so is the health. 

I guess it was just my pure luck that the printer for the ultrasound machine was faulty and thus unable to print the image of the ultrasound scan. This is truly frustrating as I had looked forward to seeing the printout. But luckily the BB was at hand to record what was displayed on the screen. Maybe it was not as clear and sharp as a printout but nevertheless, it was better than nothing. Beggars just can't be choosers.
